Poderosas uses education to transform Colombia’s history of inequality, violence, and pain into one of freedom, pleasure, and love. Our mission is to empower youth in Colombia’s vulnerable communities to make decisions about their bodies, sexuality, and lives through Comprehensive Sexuality Education, enabling all Colombian children, adolescents, and young people to make free and informed choices, close gender gaps, and break free from poverty traps and cycles of violence.
