Fundación Ser para Ser
Ser para Ser is a non-profit organization that drives human development and social transformation in Cali, built on the conviction that when a young person’s talent is lost, the entire city loses—and when that talent finds real opportunities, its impact extends beyond their own life to transform whole communities.
With over 13 years of experience and a proprietary methodology, we identify and accompany the top 1% most talented youth aged 13 to 18 from impoverished areas, enabling them to develop their potential, build solid life plans, and become agents of change for their families, neighborhoods, and the broader city-region. Through educational programs, psychosocial support, leadership development, and sports, we strengthen personal, familial, and community capacities, contributing to the creation of safer and more sustainable environments.
As of 2026, we directly serve 200 beneficiaries with a team of 22 employees, 12 university volunteers, and 10 professional volunteers, alongside strategic partnerships with Universidad Javeriana Cali, Universidad Icesi, Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali, Fundación Carvajal, and ProPacífico.
For every 38 young people we support, their impact is multiplied to reach over 1,350 individuals—including families and communities—generating a social return that far exceeds the scope of individual intervention.
At Ser para Ser, we do not simply support educational processes; we cultivate positive role models—youth who break cycles of poverty and violence while multiplying opportunities in their environments. We invest in talent as a engine for development and in trust as the foundation of the social fabric.
