For 20 years, Fundación SIDOC has developed programs and methodologies aimed at preventing violence and building peace in southwestern Colombia. To this end, it has worked in highly complex territories and with populations facing vulnerability, hardship, and the imminent risk of being drawn into dynamics of violence and illegality—creating support processes across different areas of action, including the personal, family, economic, and civic spheres—developing the social-emotional skills and life plans of children, adolescents, young people, and adults, and strengthening protective environments.
