Promoting and defending children's rights

What we do


Fundación Huellas promotes and defends children's rights. We aim to foster opportunities for young people, providing psychosocial support to their families, and strengthening locals communities at an organizational, economic and social level. Our field of action is in peripheral areas of Medellín and Bello in Antioquia, Colombia. These areas have very little government presence and are home to Colombian violence victims and Venezuelan migrants who have been displaced from their hometowns. Different programs fund this social transformation, these workshops are about rights and gender, access and permanence in basic and higher education, language, arts, recreation and sports.
